Hilary Duff turns 21 !!

Hilary Duff, the singer/actress and entrepreneur turns 21 today. We wish her a very happy birthday !!!  She was born on September 28, 1987.  She came into the spotlight after she started to act in the hit TV series ‘Lizzie McGuire’.  Then she started acting in movies. Her most successful ones include The Cinderella Story, Cheaper by the Dozen, The Lizzie McGuire Movie and a few more.  She started singing and has sold more than 13 million albums worldwide since. Her most recent album ‘Dignity’ was certified Gold in August 2007. She also owns her clothing line ‘Stuff by Hilary Duff’. In 2008, Hilary Duff was ranked as #7 in FHM’s “100 Sexiest Women in the World”.

Angelina Jolie

Her beauty beckons the saints. Her hands would slither on her skin. Her lips remind you of the juicy apples. Stop enticing yourself! I’m talking about one of Hollywood’s, if not the world’s most alluring, bewitching, exotic and famous actors - Angelina Jolie.

Talk about how lucky her hubby Brad Pitt is! Needless to say that he is every man’s envy. Coming back to the mainstream, Angelina was born on June 4th 1975 in Los Angeles, California. Being the daughter of actor Jon Voight she made it to the silver screen at a very young age. After steering her way through a few low budget movies she won an Academy Award for the best supporting actress for her commendable performance in Girl, Interrupted in 1999. But what catapulted her career was her portrayal in the video game Lara Croft (Tomb Raider) in 2001. Since then she is seen more on TV news and magazines than movies, thanks to the paparazzi.

As a contributor to world population with 3 biological and 3 adopted children, she, ironically represents the UN as a goodwill ambassador. But one should never undermine the fruits of a celebrity involved in humanitarian activities. After visits to Sierra Leone, Cambodia, Tanzania etc., Angelina was deeply moved and empathized for the plight of refugees. Recognizing the interest shown by her honest and relentless pursuit towards justice and equality, she was named as the Goodwill Ambassador for UNHCR.

She is a standing example of the school of thought - “Beauty is not just skin deep”. Her perceptions and actions have made the third world a better place, yet we perceive only her sensuous actions! Guys will always be guys!!
